im a huge nas fan, but hes puttin the -ER back onto the word nigga.. i kinda understand what hes trying to do, but at the same time idk, he says nigga tons of times in his albums. this type of pro black shit makes the artists lose the white fanbase thats been with them since their freshman years. and if you want to stick to this black and white shit, stereotypically whites have more money.. would you want them to stop buying your album? its all a bunch of b.s. not that it isnt good for nas to be trying to get a certain belief out there or to address a certain issue, but the entire race card is worn down and after all we've been through as a people, a human race, does it make sense to beat a dead horse? people are going to hate people until the end of time, printing CRACKER on a shirt and releasing a cd called HONKY isnt going to open anyones eyes, it kinda makes them want to turn away. not because its classy or unclassy or tacky or whatever the fuck.. but because we've surpassed this. i forget what comic it was, i think it was katt williams or martin lawrence i truely forgot.. but he said it best when he addressed the racism issue. he said its bullshit, fuck it. he said its been long enough where everyone could get over the shit, no1 has living relatives who were slaves nowadays. he said "im actually happy that the "white man" is letting us live here. at first it was a little crazy, we had to prove ourselves. prove that we could survive on their land and make them understand that we aint bitches. lol. kiss thier ass and let them tell us what to do. but now its all good." not a direct quote, but you get the idea.
